Tipples Drinks

Self-Initated Project

Brand Identity, Packaging, Creative Direction and Illustration

The Challenge

Tipples Drinks is a beverage company that specialises in crafting festive drinks for the holidays. Inspired by the joy and warmth of the holiday season, I took on the responsibility of creating the visual identity and packaging for the brand, aiming to capture the spirit of celebration in every aspect of the design.

Creative Solution

Drawing from my insights, I found that hot air balloons and Christmas drinks both embody a spirit of elevation and celebration, making them the perfect emblem for Tipples. I used warm colors to evoke a festive atmosphere, and symmetrical illustrations as a way to show the smoothness of Tipples Drinks.

A Modern Hertiage

In the 1780s, hot air balloons were seen as fearsome objects. Often leading to attacks by onlookers, but a offering of champagne was served as a gesture of goodwill to reassure farmers and mend relations after landings in their fields. Today this tradition still remains of toasting after a hot air balloon ride, making hot air ballons the symbol of companionship and celebration. Hence the logo mark for Tipples. The brand name comes from British slang where a ‘Tipple’ is the alcoholic drink a person usually drinks.

A Pattern Echoing Consistency

Symmetry creates a sense of harmonious and proportion and balance. It reflects the smoothness of Tipple's Christmas drinks and highlights the key ingredients in each drink. From start to finish, their taste remains consistently satisfying

It’s the Holidays!

As Tipple's Drinks specialise in crafting Christmas cocktails, it was crucial for the colours as well as the fon’ts to represent the holiday spirit, featuring luxurious golds, rich greens and inviting warm reds.
